For the 2nd episode of the EU-Startups Podcast we set-up a phone interview with Riccardo Zacconi, the founder and former CEO of the Candy Crush creator King.com. The Italian entrepreneur started King with his co-founders in 2003 and grew the company from a tiny team to a 2,500 employee corporation. The European unicorn King today is one of the world’s leading games companies. In February 2016, King was acquired by Activision Blizzard for $5.9 billion, and now operates as its own entity within that company. In 2018 we had Riccardo on stage at our annual EU-Startups Summit. Today, in times of the global pandemic, we just spoke on the phone. Enjoy the interview!
